Volunteer

Most of the work in the Garden is done by Volunteers and new applicants to join them are always welcome.

Volunteers gather on Thursdays when most of the work is done.

If you are thinking of becoming a garden volunteer, basic horticultural knowledge is important as well as, of course, a love of gardening. If you give your name and contact details to a Volunteer on a Thursday, a form can be sent to you outlining the sort of duties that are involved and asking you to list your gardening experience.

We are also keen to recruit maintenance volunteers. Again, if you give your name and contact details to a volunteer someone will get in touch.

Legacies and donations also play a vital part in helping to ensure that this jewel in the centre of Cowbridge continues to flourish.
